1. Stay hydrated. Always bring a water bottle to class.
2. Don't shy away from a heavier weight. Lifting more weight builds muscle faster. Muscle speeds up your metabolism which helps you lose weight!
3. Don't hide in the back. We will find you anyways. Come up front. Don't be shy. You will push yourself harder if there is an audience.
4. Ask for help when you need it. If something is wrong, ask us. If you have an injury, tell us! We are there to help you.
5. On days you don't come to a class, find another way to get your 500 calorie workout in! You want to workout at least 6 days a week! 1 rest day!
6. Eat a small amount about 1.5 hours before class for optimal energy. Eating dinner or a snack an hour after a workout is great for recovery.
7. Try for 7-8 hours sleep every night to recover from your workout.
8. Always have a pair of indoor running shoes. Having a flat sole shoe is much better on our gym floor than running shoes with a high arch. This will help your knees and correct your form.
9. Take breaks when you need them. We don't expect you to keep up with everyone else. Go at your own pace. This is YOUR workout.
10. Show up on time. Very important. Show up so you aren't a distraction and so you know what you are doing when class starts!
